Alleged Jennifer Fleck adherents who have been shaped and influenced by conspiracy theories and copious amounts of propaganda and misinformation lined up in force to run for office in Western Travis County during the recent May 1, 2021 elections. This group was organized, mobilized and willing to use very aggressive bullying techniques in their campaigns.
Thankfully, voters united and rejected this klan of bad actors. Without naming names, every losing candidate in the Lakeway City Council, Lakeway Mayoral and LTISD campaigns is either affilitated with, or supportive of Q-Anon conspiracies, radical-Republican platforms, or is a member of the reinvented Tea Party currently calling themselves “Patriots.” Republicans, Democrats and Independents went to the polls in record numbers to protect the community from these “qrazies.” Whew!
